The San Francisco Torero Club is one of the USD Alumni Association's most established and successful regional groups, serving USD alumni and parents throughout the bay area, but mainly focused in the city of San Francisco. The Club hosts 5-6 annual events including networking events, Torero athletic pre-game receptions and professional development events.

Bio - Camille Schmidt
Camille was born and raised in Sausalito, California in Marin County -- just across the Golden Gate from San Francisco. She attended Marin Catholic High School where she graduated on the Dean’s List. Camille graduated the University of San Diego with a degree in Communications and a minor in Political Science.
Upon graduation, she immediately moved to New York City to intern in fashion public relations. While in New York, she interned for CFDA Award recipient Erin Fetherston in the Garment District. She also interned for Bluestripe Public Relations and worked on accounts including BHLDN, Joie, Palladium and Joy Cioci. Upon returning home to the Bay Area, Camille interned with Lucy Activewear's head of public relations and marketing, Celeste Niebergall.
In January 2013, Camille started her own PR company, Camille Schmidt Public Relations. As founder of Camille Schmidt Public Relations, Camille works on all fashion, lifestyle, beauty, and fitness/health accounts. Camille uses a mix of both traditional and guerilla marketing tactics to ensure the brands that she represents get visibility in print, online, and broadcast media. Camille Schmidt Public Relations also specializes in branding, social media, blogger outreach and event planning. In her free time, Camille enjoys brunching with her friends, volunteering with Spinsters of San Francisco and raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Camille hopes to use her skills in Public Relations to facilitate a more unified USD alumni community in the Bay Area. She plans to implement frequent fun events, alumni networking and career resources, and philanthropy opportunities that will help create a stronger bond amongst community members and the university.
