Experiencing Shakespeare's London

For the first time, USD is embarking upon an alumni and parent trip to Shakespeare’s London! This is an incredible opportunity to experience first-hand the history and impact of Shakespeare's legacy on modern day theatre.

Led by Dr. David Hay, a professor in the Department of English and the MFA program's founding director, the trip takes place from October 1 – 9, 2014 and includes five night hotel stays in London plus two nights in Stratford-upon-Avon, daily breakfast, transportation in London, a tour of The Globe Theatre as well as Q & A and three plays by The Bard (currently: Much Ado About Nothing, Julius Caesar, and A Comedy of Errors).

Dr. Hay has been teaching and directing Shakespeare for over 4o years including his years with the University of San Diego's nationally-ranked MFA program.

Only 16 spaces are available! Cost is $1,900 per person (based on double occupancy) and does include a charitable donation to USD. Does not include airfare, some meals and other incidentals.
