HOW DO I APPLY?
• Review scholarship criteria. (See below). Make sure you are eligible and meet the criteria.
• Review the essay prompts. (See below). Draft your essay before starting the online application.
• Complete the online application by the deadline on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 5 PM

HELPFUL TIPS FOR APPLYING
• Each scholarship requires an individual essay. We recommend you review the essay prompts and prepare your essay(s) before starting the online application. Remember do not include your or any person’s full name in your essay. If you do so, your application will be marked ineligible. The online application is expected to take approximately 30 minutes if essays are prepared in advance.

• On the application, you will be asked to list at least one campus activity (employment, student clubs, orgs or committees, Geek affiliation, sports, athletics) and one community service/employment you participate in while attending USD. List the organization/project name, your role and dates of involvement. We understand that employment is necessary for many students. We value employment equally as contributing to your community as typical community service and community service learning activities.
